Project Network

The Project Network is a growing community of private-sector entities, financial institutions, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations with an interest in methane capture and use projects.

Project Network members are actively involved in the Partnership and are critical to its success. Working with countries who are Methane to Markets Partners, Project Network members can galvanize action, setting the stage for concrete methane projects.

China's Sihe Mine: Proving the Power of Coal Mine Methane Projects

The world's largest power generation project fueled with coal mine methane is located in China's Shanxi Province, at the Sihe Mine in Jincheng City. The Methane to Markets Partnership helped bring this project to life.
