The tool provides users with easy access to information on cost-effective technologies and practices that reduce methane emissions in the oil and gas industry as well as links to related Web sites for more information on sector specific technologies and topics. The tool is useful for a wide variety of audience groups.

For those unfamiliar with the oil and gas industry, the interactive diagrams illustrate how parts of the industry relate to each other. Each industrial process displays a link to a glossary, applicable control technologies and best practices, a description, and a drill-down capability to view flow diagrams that are more detailed. Technical users can take advantage of the process-specific control technology and guidance documents.
